Petrol increase is double

SHOCKED Queensland motorists were hit hard with hikes of up to 20¢ a litre in fuel prices as the scrapped fuel subsidy and the weekly price cycle conspired against them.
Early morning motorists were confused when some stations were advertising prices as high as 132.4¢ a litre, while others were still priced at 112.9¢.
Angry motorists were wondering why the axing of Queensland's 8.35¢ subsidy had pushed prices so high.
